Lakota Crafts & Leather

Est.1997

 Welcome

Let me introduce you to Lakota Crafts.

Irene is the brains of the operation and the driving force.

She is very knowledgeable in her field. She is an accomplished sewing machinist and can repair and / or alter most leathers.

She has a great interest in Native Americans, their crafts and traditions, in particular the Lakota (Sioux) of the Great Plains of South Dakota. She makes beautiful traditional jewellery and artifacts.

Ron is the "maker". Irene usually has the idea and Ron turns it into a tangible thing. He is an accomplished Leathersmith and can make almost anything from his chosen material.

He has many satisfied customers to his credit and has made everything from a key fob to saddlebags.

They are usually ornately tooled and carved to the customers own design

If our products move you to want to place an order or just to enquire further please give us a call or email and we can discuss your requirements. We hope to be able to take plastic transactions sometime in the future (watch this space), but until then any payments will have to bemade in cash, cheque or bankers draft.

As you can probably guess from the photograph we are keen "Bikers" and we have years of experience looking after other "Bikers" wants and needs.
